500+ private guitar lessons w/ many different instructors
I taught my first private guitar lessons in 1980 at my parents home while I was still in high school. I continued to teach part time until 1993 when I made the leap to full time teaching at Buckdancer’s Choice. Since that time, I’ve taught over 35,000 private lessons. I still love watching students learn to enjoy music, and I still enjoy growing as a teacher, musician, and guitar player.
I currently play guitar and sing for Wavelength. We primarily play weddings, private parties, and corporate events throughout New England.
Prior to Wavelength, I wrote and performed original music as a solo artist, and with Portland hard rock band The Whigs. My solo CDs received airplay on commercial stations around New England for over two years, and played many shows. The Whigs performed for five years all over Maine, Boston, and New York City where we played the China Club, and the legendary CBGB many times.
I’ve logged thousands of hours as a sound engineer doing both live sound and recording engineering/production. I ran three different commercial recording studios from 1988-1995. Many of my own recordings, and those I did for others received commercial airplay.
